The purpose of Administration

The Executive Assistant primarily assists the Executive Director in the performance of his duties, the extent of which is outlined in his virtual office.  In addition, this role acts as the communications and information centre for the Society in receiving and distributing forms and information that pertain to daily operations, and ultimately annual reports.  Further to that, the main bookkeeping functions are incorporated in this position.

What I do

My duties cover a diverse range.  Answering or redirecting the general inquiries of callers and visitors and receiving payments for our recycling and employment services is often the first introduction.  Additionally, there are the ongoing duties of receiving and reporting the information relevant to each department in order to ensure that everything from a single customer receipt to Year to Date financial reports are properly completed and delivered.
